About Me

Hello, I’m Cleo, founder of RTW House Sitters.

I’ve lived in Tunbridge Wells for over 30 years, and this community has always been home. After spending many years house sitting through TrustedHousesitters, I realised how much I loved caring for people’s homes and, most importantly, their pets. It inspired me to create something much more personal and local.

That’s why I only offer house sitting and pet sitting within a small radius of Tunbridge Wells. I believe staying local allows me to build genuine relationships with both pets and their owners, and I’m proud that many of my clients ask me back time and time again.

People often ask how I got into house sitting. For 25 years I worked as British Airways cabin crew, so owning pets wasn’t practical because I was away from home so often. When my son was growing up, he desperately wanted a dog, so we joined BorrowMyDoggy. It gave us the opportunity to spend time with wonderful dogs, enjoy long walks and plenty of cuddles, before returning them home at the end of the day. That’s when I realised just how much joy animals bring into my life.

Today, looking after pets doesn’t feel like work—it feels like a privilege. I treat every home with the same care and respect as if it were my own, and every pet as though they were part of my family.
